Three leading Maori food and drink brands have been clustered under one name, in a bid to boost exports.
Aotearoa Seafoods, Tohu Wines and Ngatahi Horticulture are now operating as Kono (food basket).
Kono is a division of the Wakatu Incorporation, which is based in Nelson.
Chief executive Keith Palmer says the products' Maori heritage gives the company a unique cultural connection with Asian businesses.
He says switching to a single brand will increase overall sales and help Kono become a premium food supplier.
