The Cancer Society has developed a kaupapa Maori programme, to support Maori with cancer.

Kia ora - E te iwi, is for anyone who has to cope with cancer whether a patient, carer, or health professional.

Providers who have trained facilitators are eligible to apply to the Cancer Society for funding to run Kia ora - E Te iwi during 2012.

The Cancer Society says the key to the programme is that it is delivered for Maori by Maori.
