President Robert Mugabe has returned to Zimbabwe, looking fit, after a two week trip to Singapore that ignited speculation he was seriously ill.
He landed at the main airport in the capital, Harare, and was seen joking and laughing with Vice-President Joice Mujuru.
Information and publicity minister Webster Shamu says Western media spread false reports about the health of Mr Mugabe, who he says is fit as a fiddle.
Mr Mugabe, 88, travelled eight times to Singapore last year for medical check-ups.
