A man who killed more than 50 husky dogs in British Columbia, Canada, has been charged with animal cruelty.
Robert Fawcett was manager of a company offering dog-sled tours at the Whistler ski resort.
When business slowed after the 2010 Winter Olympics, he killed the dogs. One survived, crawling from a mass grave a day later.
The slaughter became public after Fawcett won a compensation claim for post-traumatic stress as a result.
British Columbia has since introduced regulations to protect commercial sled dogs.
