Police in New South Wales arrested 550 people and laid almost 1000 charges after targeting gun crime and criminal gangs at the weekend.
The ABC reports bail and parole checks and inspections were carried out on pubs, clubs and tattoo parlours. Fourteen firearms as well as illegal and prescription drugs were seized.
A blitz on drink-driving saw 107 charges laid.
