Pakistan's Supreme Court has ordered an urgent investigation into whether four women were killed for clapping and singing as men danced at a wedding.
Footage of the wedding, filmed on a mobile phone, has appeared on television stations.
A brother of the men who were dancing said a tribal council ordered the killings because the women violated tribal honour in a remote northern village.
The Supreme Court has told officials that if they believe the women were alive, they should go to the village, by helicopter if necessary, and find them.
Officials have attempted to reach Gizar Alitray, but bad weather forced them to land in another village.
