Police in Indonesia have arrested the man suspected of organising a boat which sank off Christmas Island last month, killing about 90 asylum seekers.
The ABC reports the man, called Ervan, was arrested last week.
The boat was carrying up to 200 asylum seekers when it capsized and sank in Indonesian waters on 21 June while en route to Christmas Island.
Australian Home Affairs Minister Jason Clare says Australian Federal Police and the Indonesian national police are working closely together on the matter.
