Another Australian soldier has been killed in Afghanistan, the 33rd to die in the conflict since 2002.
Australia's Chief of the Defence Force David Hurley on Tuesday in Darwin confirmed the death.
He said the Special Forces commando was shot in the chest while on a mission with Afghan security forces in Chora Valley. He was on his seventh tour of duty in Afghanistan.
