Reductions in global poverty foreseen

The Overseas Development Institution in Britain says global poverty has halved since 1990 and will almost halve again by 2025.

By then, it says the number of people living below the poverty line will have fallen to 600 million.

The BBC reports that aid agencies could almost be put out of business.
