Bulgaria has released video footage of a man it suspects carried out the suicide bombing of a bus full of Israeli tourists on Wednesday.

The footage shows a white man with long blond hair, apparently in his thirties, carrying a rucksack and wearing a T-shirt, shorts, sunglasses and a baseball cap.

The Bulgarian authorities say he was carrying a fake American driving licence, the BBC reports.

Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov said the man is believed to have been in the country up to seven days before the attack.

Israel has blamed Iran for the bombing, which killed at least seven people and injured more than thirty in the Black Sea resort of Burgas.

The suspected bomber also died in the explosion in the eastern Bulgarian city by the Black Sea.

At least 30 people were injured, some seriously.
