Big drug companies are trying to curb the generic medications industry in India.
The ABC reports Bayer of Germany is one of several pharmaceutical companies using the courts there to try to block the production of a generic drug used by cancer patients.
Generic drugs cost a fraction of the price of the equivalent products in India sold by companies like Bayer.
