Dozens of bodies found near Damascus

Dozens of bodies have been found in a hospital morgue near the Syrian capital city, Damascus, but the circumstances of the deaths were not immediately clear.

The bodies were found southwest of the city in an area where a battle with rebels took place, leading up to a massacre of more than 500 people in Daraya at the end of August.

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights director Rami Abdel Rahman said on Sunday in London that they may be the bodies of fighters killed in the area in recent months.
