Suicide bombing incident

A suicide car bombing in Syria has reportedly killed at least 50 soldiers in Ziyara, a village in the central Hama province.

State media reported that two people had been killed and 10 others wounded outside a state-run development agency.

An official source was quoted as saying the vehuicle was packed with one tonne of explosives.

However, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in London said reported that the target was a military post there.

Later, another car bomb exploded in a busy square in Mazzeh 86, a predominantly pro-government district in the west of Damascus.

State media said four people were killed 20 others wounded.
