Female bishop appointed in Swaziland

The Anglican church has appointed its first female bishop in Africa - Ellinah Wamukoya from Swaziland.

Mrs Wamukoya, 61, was consecrated at a ceremony in the town of Manzini.

She says her appointment is a historic change for the Anglican church on the continent, where other denominations don't allow women to serve as bishops.
