The state-owned Norwegian television station, NRK, has started broadcasting a special programme which will feature a burning fireplace for twelve hours.
The head of programming at NRK, Rune Møklebust, says firewood specialists will provide commentary and advice on subjects such as chopping, stacking and burning the wood.
The transmission will also feature music and poetry, the BBC reports.
Mr Møklebust described it as slow but noble television.
