At least 13 workers were wounded by rubber bullets or machetes in fighting at a mine in South Africa in clashes between rival union factions on Monday.

Security guards used rubber bullets to disperse them.

Police said there were no fatalities.

The incident took place near Rustenburg, where more than 50 people were killed in last year's industrial unrest. The mine is run by Anglo American Platinum.
