Fire threat lingers in western Victoria

A large bushfire is still burning near rural towns in the Grampians Ranges, west of Melbourne.

The fire has burned more than 12,000 hectares.

AAP reports watch and act warnings were issued by the CFA for the Victoria Valley, Woohlpooer, Glenisla and Mooralla, for Wednesday morning.

The fire is expected to take several days to bring under control.
