A passenger ferry, Spirit of Fiji Islands, is aground on a reef near Koro Island.
Consort Shipping confirmed that the incident occurred on Thursday morning and said all passengers and crew were safe.
Consort said all 110 passengers are now off the vessel and are waiting on the island while alternative transport is arranged for them.
Spokesperson Hector Smith said the ship is not significantly damaged and there is no risk of any diesel leaking.
