Judith Durham, the singer of the group The Seekers, is in hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage following a concert in Melbourne on Tuesday.

The band's publicist, Dianna O'Neil, says the 69-year-old is in good spirits and is undergoing a range of tests, the ABC reports.

The Seekers first performed together in 1962 and topped charts with hits such as Georgy Girl, The Carnival Is Over and I'll Never Find Another You.

Remaining dates of the band's Golden Jubilee Tour would be rescheduled.
