An Aston Martin car has sold for £3.25 million in an auction in England, setting a record price for the brand which is celebrating its centenary year.
Auctioneers at Bonhams described the 1960 DB4GT Jet Coupe as a complete one-off with coachwork by the Italian design house Bertone.
Bonhams said the car was the last off the production line. It was from a deceased estate and was for sale for the first time in over 25 years.
The 14th annual sale of Aston Martin and Lagonda motor cars raised £10 million.
