The Third Man movie is to be made into a musical in Vienna.
An Austrian production company has secured the rights to adapt the classic film, which won the Oscar for best picture in 1949.
Starring American actor Orson Welles, it was shot in Vienna after the Second World War. Its haunting zither music is one of the most famous themes in cinema history.
The musical will be written in German, with the premiere scheduled for 2016.
