Almost $A5 million worth of cannabis plants were seized by New South Wales police during raids on Tuesday in Sydney.
AAP reports 961 cannabis plants were seized in total, with a potential street value of $A4.8 million.
In a statement, police said two Vietnamese nationals were arrested during the raids.
One of the men, 23, is in Australia on a student visa and the other man, 30, had overstayed a student visa that expired in March.
They were both charged with enhanced indoor cultivation of a large commercial quantity of cannabis and several other drug-related offences.
Bail was refused and they are due before Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday.
