An court in India has sentenced six men convicted of the gang rape of a Swiss woman to life imprisonment.
The woman, 39, was raped while camping with her husband in a forest in the state of Madhya Pradesh on 15 March. Afterwards, they stole her laptop, mobile phone.
The men, aged between 22 and 30, were all from a village close to the scene.
Changes to the law in India, containing stricter punishments for rapists, including the death penalty, were passed several days after incident.
Three months earlier, a student was gang-raped and beaten in a moving bus and thrown on to the street in a case that triggered mass protests.
