Globe Theatre marking Shakespeare's birth with world tour

The Globe Theatre in London is planning to take a production of Hamlet on tour around the world.

Twelve actors will peform the play on tour over the next two years.

Next April will be the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare's birth and the Globe intends to take the play to every nation.

The Globe Theatre has a reputation for presenting the work of Shakespeare as it would have been seen in his day.

The BBC reports the Globe is currently on the road in England with three plays about Henry VI, taking them to the battlefields which featured during his reign.
