Emergency supplies sent to Nauru after riot

Emergency equipment and medical supplies have been flown to Nauru where the Australian processing centre was wrecked in a riot on Friday night.

The ABC reports 125 people have been charged with affray, riot and larceny.

Immigration Minister Tony Burke threatenend on Sunday to refuse or cancel the visas of those found to be responsible.

The Immigration Department says the damage is expected to cost $A68 million.

A spokeswoman said temporary accommodation is being set up to house the asylum seekers at the site where a new permanent detention facility is being built.
