A British court has ordered a millionaire couple to pay $160,000 to a woman from Pakistan who they kept as a domestic slave.

Ilyas and Tallat Ashar, aged 85 and 69, were jailed last October after the young woman was found sleeping in the cellar of their Manchester home in 2009.

The victim is deaf, and it was believed she was only 10 when she was trafficked into the UK a decade ago.

She was repeatedly raped and forced to work as a servant at the family's properties.

The court ruled that the couple should also repay more than $60,000 in fraudulently claimed benefits.

They are each serving lengthy jail terms.
