Police say two suspects are dead, after 14 people died and 17 were injured in a mass shooting in San Bernardino, California. Here's how it happened.

  • Two suspects - a man and a woman - have been killed by police after a tip-off and high-speed chase in San Bernardino
  • A third person has been detained but police say his involvement is not clear
  • One police officer has been wounded but the injury is not life-threatening
  • Images of a black SUV, riddled with bullet holes and surrounded by police, have been screened by CNN
  • 14 people are believed to be dead, 17 people are injured
  • Police say they have yet to ascertain whether the shooting is a terrorist attack
  • The dead man and woman were armed with assault rifles and hand-guns, police say
  • The shooting took place at a regional health centre for people with developmental disabilities
