Australian Federal Police officers have arrested 16 people across Australia following following the seizure of 4.4 tonnes of ecstasy.
Customs calls it the world's largest seizure of ecstasy.
The ABC reports the arrests were made in early morning raids in Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia as part of an investigation into an international drug syndicate.
Some of those who have been arrested are suspected of being involved with major drug trafficking in Australia.
