London to boost police presence following attacks

People in London are being told to expect an increased police presence in the city, following a deadly terror attack that has left 10 people dead, including three attackers.

Ambulance services reported 48 people were taken to five hospitals across London.

  • A speeding van veered off the road on London Bridge into pedestrians
  • Police at London Bridge cordon say more than one fatality there
  • Armed police in Borough Market, responded to stabbings in bars and pubs
  • The incidents have been declared terrorist attacks by police
  • Police said a stabbing in Vauxhall area was not related to the London Bridge and Borough Market attacks
  • The attacks happened on a busy Saturday night in popular areas, crowded with people
  • Blasts heard in the area were reportedly controlled explosions carried out by police
