NZ celebrates first win at under-17 World Cup

New Zealand beat Colombia 3-1 in their final match at the under-17 Women's World Cup in Wellington.

It is the first win by a New Zealand women's football team at a FIFA world cup but the home side were already out of the competition.

Auckland striker Rosie White, 15 scored all of New Zealand's goals on Tuesday.

Germany is assured of a place in the quarter-finals; so have North Korea, Denmark and Canada.

On Wednesday: France play the United States with the winner to join Japan as qualifiers from Group C.

In Group D, England is to play South Korea, although all four teams including Nigeria and Brazil can still make it.
