The Dalai Lama is to return to New Zealand.
He last visited New Zealand in June 2007 with around 10,000 people in Auckland and 3000 in Wellington attending his public talks.
He has accepted an invitation to return to Auckland next December.
The Dalai Lama Visit Trust says his visits are increasingly precious because of his age.
The Dalai Lama will give a public talk at the Vector Arena on 6 December, 2009 and Buddhist Teachings at the same venue the next day.
