Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say they have arrested three militants from Pakistan.
According to the police, the men were planning to launch suicide bomb attacks in the city of Jammu.
They say one of those detained is a Pakistani army soldier, and all three are members of the Jaish-e-Mohammed organisation, a group that is violently opposed to India's presence in Kashmir.
There has been no immediate response to the Indian allegation from the Pakistani army.
