5:03 pm on 7 March 2010

Victoria is preparing for more wild weather as Melbourne assesses the trail of damage by Saturday's thunderstorms.

The State Emergency Service has received nearly 4000 calls in the aftermath of the storm which brought hail of up to 10cm in diameter, strong winds and heavy rain.

Storm damage to Melbourne's Docklands Stadium is reported to be in the millions after part of the roof collapsed and bars flooded, reports the ABC.

Southern Cross Railway Station was also damaged by hail.

Fifteen families were relocated from homes in Melbourne and the state's east, and 100,000 homes and businesses lost power across the state.

More thunderstorms are expected to hit Victoria on Sunday afternoon, and there is a warning for flash flooding across the state.
