Rocket fired from Gaza kills man in southern Israel

Militants in the Gaza Strip have fired a rocket into Israel, killing a foreign agricultural worker on a kibbutz.

The attack took place as the head of foreign policy for the European Union, Baroness Catherine Ashton, was visiting Gaza.

Lady Ashton's trip is one of the highest level visits since Hamas took power in Gaza, and comes amid a new push to revive stalled Middle East peace talks.

She has responded to the rocket attack by saying she condemns all violence, and is working to find a peaceful solution to the problems in the region.
