Toyota is to recall 270,000 cars worldwide because of an engine fault.
The company says the recall includes seven luxury Lexus models and the Toyota Crown.
The BBC reports the problem follows a recall of more than eight million vehicles earlier this year, for problems with sticking accelerator pedals.
Toyota was fined more than $US16 million in the United States for its slow response to the accelerator fault.
