Ferrari has been fined $US100,000 for breaching sporting regulations at the German Grand Prix.
However, governing body FIA says the result, in which Felipe Massa slowed down to allow team-mate Fernando Alonso past to win, would stand.
Ferrari continued to insist the incident was "a driver decision" and no instructions were given to Massa, the BBC reports
Alonso's win takes him into 5th place in the championship behind Lewis Hamilton, who leads his teammate Jenson Button by 14 points.
