Russia says its forces have killed the man suspected of organising twin suicide bombings which killed 40 people on the Moscow underground railway on 29 March.
More than 100 people were wounded.
A security official said Magomed-Ali Vagabov was killed in a counter terrorism operation in the southern region of Dagestan.
