The death toll from three bomb attacks in the Pakistani city of Lahore has reached at least 25, with more than 170 wounded.
The bombs exploded during a Shi'ite religious procession. Thousands of Shi'ite Muslims had taken to the streets of Lahore for the occasion.
Officials say that at least one of the attacks was a suicide bombing.
Lahore has been the scene of sectarian violence between Sunni and Shi'ites in recent months. There had been a lull, however, since Pakistan was hit by devastating floods.
The attacks came after two days of government air raids on militant strongholds in the northwest region.
