Another new political party has emerged as Tonga prepares for elections this year.
The Democratic Party of the Friendly Islands is also the first to announce candidates in all 17 electorates. It includes several sitting MPs.
A Radio New Zealand International correspondent says candidates will be required to sign a commitment to improve the economic well-being of the people of Tonga.
In the poll on 25 November, two-thirds of MPs will be elected by the people for the first time.
