Unknown gunmen have attacked a group of tourists on a bus in the Indian capital Delhi.
The BBC reports two people from Taiwan were shot and injured.
Eyewitnesses say gunmen travelling on a motorcycle opened fire on a tourist bus just outside the Jama Masjid mosque, a popular tourist destination.
Police have cordoned off the site of the shooting and are studying CCTV footage.
Security in Delhi has been tightened ahead of the Commonwealth Games which run from 3-14 October.
A team of five New Zealand officials have been in Delhi this week, inspecting the security and living arrangements for the Commonwealth Games.
If it is deemed unsafe, New Zealand athletes may be stopped from participating at the Games.
