The deputy governor of Ghazni Province in eastern Afghanistan has been killed by a suicide bomber.
Mohamad Kazim Allahyar was driving to work on Tuesday when a bomber rode a motorbike into his convoy.
The BBC reports his son, nephew, a bodyguard and two civilians also died. Eight other people were seriously wounded.
