Four miners are trapped 150 metres down a gold and silver mine in Ecuador, after a collapse at Portovelo in the southwest coastal province of El Oro.
Reports say all the men are believed to be alive.
They became trapped after a collapse at 3am (local time) on Friday.
The mine is owned by Minesadco.
