A boat carrying another load of asylum seekers has been intercepted off Australia.
The ABC reports it was intercepted off Christmas Island on Sunday afternoon, with 62 people believed to be aboard.
Two other boats were intercepted on Thursday and Friday.
Opposition immigration spokesman Scott Morrision says there has been an unprecedented number of arrivals this year.
"The arrival and interception of a boat, this illegal boat, to Australia this evening, brings a new record for the number of people to arrive illegally by boat in Australia in any calender year. 110 boats have turned up in 2010 bring 5523 people," he said.
