Another Australian soldier has been killed in Afghanistan - the second this week.
He was killed while trying to defuse an improvised explosive device.
Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston said he was trying to clear the route of an Australian patrol.
The ABC reports he was the 10th Australian soldier to die in Afghanistan since February 2002.
