Cook Islanders cast their votes on Thursday in a general election there.
Seventy candidates are seeking places in the 24-seat parliament.
A referendum on political reform is also being held at the same time, asking voters whether the number of MPs should be reduced.
Polls close at 6pm (7pm NZ Time).
The Cook Islands are self-governing in free association with New Zealand, a constitutional arrangement that allows the territory to maintain New Zealand citizenship, while administering its own affairs.
An estimated 50,000 Cook Islanders in New Zealand.
