A magnitude 6.0 earthquake has occurred in Papua New Guinea.
The US Geological Survey says it was recorded at around 7pm local time on Tuesday (8pm AEDT) at a depth of 73km, 430km north-northeast of the capital, Port Moresby.
No tsunami warning has been issued.
