Sweden's highest court has rejected an appeal by lawyers for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange against a detention order.
Mr Assange, 39, an Australian, is wanted over accusations of rape and other sexual offences made by two Swedish women. He denies the claims, calling them a smear campaign.
Interpol has issued a "red notice".
The wheareabuts of Mr Assange are not known. He was last seen in London and is widely assumed to still be in Britain, although remaining continuously on the move.
