Hundreds of people have marched through London to mourn a man who died during protests before the G20 financial summit earlier this month.

Video footage emerged last week showing a policeman knocking newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson, 47, to the ground, shortly before he collapsed and died, near the Bank of England on 1 April.

A post mortem found he died of a heart attack and the policeman involved has been suspended.

Black-clad marchers on Saturday laid flowers and lit candles at the spot where Mr Tomlinson died.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating his death.
