Football fans have rioted in Moscow over the killing of a fellow supporter.
Spartak Moscow fans gathered near the Kremlin following the fatal shooting of Yegor Sviridov, 28.
He was shot in the head during a fight with men from the Russian Caucasus in northwest Moscow on 4 December.
The RIA-Novosti news agency reported riot police were sent to Manezh Square on Saturday to deal with the demonstration. Sixty five people were arrested.
Police chief Vladimir Kolokoltsev promised to complete an investigation into the shooting and urged the demonstrators to be patient.
He also said the police tried to minimize the use of force during Saturday's incident.
The BBC reports there were also clashes in St Petersburg between police and football fans protesting against the killing.
The ABC reports another Spartak fan was killed in July.
