The mayor of Pitcairn Island, who is facing charges of possessing child pornography, has been re-elected.
Mike Warren faces 25 charges of possessing indecent images of children on his computer, which was seized by police several months ago.
His lawyer, Tony Ellis, says Mr Warren was re-elected this week with 15 votes compared with 11 received by each of his two nearest rivals.
Mr Ellis says it was agreed at a preliminary hearing on Thursday to adjourn the case until May next year.
The Pitcairn Islands group in the South Pacific Ocean is a British Overseas Territory.
